Individual Note: Worked on Frisco Railroad.
A clue as to George Brebner's middle name may be in the records of the Round Prairie Christian Church of Bunker Hill, Illinois. There was a George Brebner who was a member at the same time as Lorenzo McGilvry. The church records state that that George Brebner was baptized in June, 1862 and "joined the army and was drowned -- 1862". Perhaps Lorenzo named his first son after this person who was a friend or possibly a relative.

Individual Note: Aaron Frazier made several trips between Pennsylvania and North Carolina. All these are recorded in the Quaker records in New Garden. All evidence (mostly circumstantial) points to Aaron's son John as our John. There were many John Fraziers in North Carolina at this time.
Aaron, son of Alexander and Sarah Frazier, was born about 1719 at New Castle, Delaware. He migrated to Guilford, N.C. where he married Sarah Osborne on 03/19/1767 at New Garden Monthly Meeting. (This may be a 2nd marriage) They had at least 8 children; including one named John, who was born 02/04/1771 in Guilford County, N. C.. This date is recorded at Center Monthly Meeting, Guilford, N.C. Aaron first came to Cane Creek MM in Alamance County, N.C.. Later he came to New Garden MM Guilford. In late 1761 Aaron went briefly back to Chester County, Pa. and returned in 1764. He went back again in May 1765 and returned in November 1766. These trips are recorded in the Quaker records at New Garden.
Sarah Osborne was born 06/17/1737 at Center, Guilford County, N.C. Sarah's father was Matthew Osborne and her mother was Isobel Dodson. Aaron died and is buried at New Garden. Sarah died at Center and is buried in the Quaker Cemetery.
