Individual Note:
Linda married right out of high school and has had seven husbands. Many of them got jobs on the railroad through her father. One of her husbands was the brother of another husband who died. One husband died in battle. He was six feet seven inches tall. He was shot and killed when he was sent out on patrol. Robert J., Jr., his father-in-law, always blamed the sergeant for sending him out where he was an easy target.
