Theodore Kelly, son of John Duke and Muta Angeline(Davis) Kelly, is shown on the 1860 Federal Census in Center Township, Vernon County, Missouri (page 21). That census shows four year-old Theodore was born in Missouri.
He also appears on the 1870 Federal Census in Nevada City, Vernon County, Missouri. That census shows he was 14 at the time the census was taken and born in Missouri.
Theodore also appears on the 1900 Federal Census in Township 25 Range 23 East, Cherokee Nation (supervisors district 73, sheet 17A), living with his sister (Mary) and brother-in-law, James Edgar Madding. That census shows 44 year-old "Theo" was born in March 1856 in Missouri. A widower in 1900, he reported that his father was born in Missouri and that his mother was born in Tennessee.

John Duke Kelly, Jr., son of John Duke and Muta Angeline (Davis) Kelly, is shown on the 1860 Federal Census in Center Township, Vernon County, Missouri (page 21). That census shows two year-old John was born in Missouri. He also appears on the 1870 Federal Census in Nevada City, Vernon County, Missouri. That census shows he was 12 years-old at the time the census was taken and born in Missouri.
He married Susan Elizabeth Carrey, daughter of Ross Thomas and Rebecca (Connor) Carrey. He was a minister.
A deed for land was transferred from John Duke and Susan E. Carrey (Kelly) to Joseph E. Kelly on February 10, 1909 Delaware County, Oklahoma for $325. The description of land is:
"S.W. 1/4 of S.W. 1/4 of NW 1/4 Section 26 Twp.25 Range 23 East Containing ten acres more or less, according the U. S. Government survey thereof."
John D. Kelly appears on the 1910 Federal Census in Township 5, Delaware County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 62, sheet 15A). That census shows 53 year-old John and his parents were born in Missouri and that he was a farmer. He reported that he had been married, only once, for 30 years.
He also appears on the 1920 Federal Census in Delaware County, Oklahoma, giving his age as 61. That census shows that he and his parents were born in Missouri and that he was a farmer. He also appears on the 1930 Federal Census in Grove, Delaware County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 19). That census shows 72 year old John was born and his parents were born in Missouri and that he was a minister at the Church of Christ.
He died March 19, 1943 in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. His obituary appeared in the March 25, 1943 edition of The Grove Sun. He is buried in Fairland Cemetery, Fairland, Ottawa County, Oklahoma.

Robert Kelly, son of John Duke and Muta Angeline (Davis) Kelly, appears on the 1870 Federal Census in Nevada City, Vernon County, Missouri. That census shows he was 6 years old at the time the census was taken and born in Texas.
He also appears on the 1900 Federal Census in Indian Territory, Ottawa Nation (Enumeration District 2 - imaged page 55). That census shows Robert, an Indian, was born in November 1864 in Missouri and that he was a Livery Man.

Franklin Kelly, son of John Duke and Muta Angeline (Davis) Kelly, appears on the 1910 Federal Census in Afton, Ottawa County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 158, sheet 10B). That census shows 38 year-old Frank was born in Oklahoma and that he had been married for 15 years. He reported that he was a stock dealer in town in 1910.

That census shows 17 year-old Alba was born in July 1882 Indian Territory. She reported that her father was born in Missouri and her mother was born in Texas. She also reported that she was a servant.

Susan Elizabeth Carrey, daughter of Ross Thomas and Rebecca (Connor) Carrey, appears on the 1880 Census in Delaware District, Indian Territory, Oklahoma.
She also appears on the 1902-1907 Dawes roll: Card # 167, roll # 22292 as Susie E. Kelly. She was 1/16 Cherokee.
Susan married John Duke Kelly, Jr., son of John Duke and Muta Angeline (Davis) Kelly. She appears with him on the 1910 Federal Census in Township 5, Delaware County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 62, sheet 15A). That census shows 46 year-old Susan was born in Missouri, that her father was born in Georgia and that her mother was born in Indiana. She reported that she had been married for 30 years and had seven children, six of whom were living in 1910.
She appears on the 1920 Federal Census in Delaware County, Oklahoma, giving her age as 56. That census shows that she was born in Missouri and that her parents were born in Oklahoma.
Susan also appears on the 1930 Federal Census in Grove, Delaware County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 19). That census shows 66 year old Susan was born in Missouri and that her father was born in Oklahoma and her mother born in Georgia.
Susan died December 24, 1937 in Ottawa County, Oklahoma. Her obituary appeared in the December 28, 1937 edition of the Miami Daily News Record (Miami, Ottawa County, Oklahoma) and the December 30, 1937 edition of The Grove Sun (Grove, Delaware County, Oklahoma). She is buried in the Fairland Cemetery, Fairland, Ottawa County, Oklahoma.

Grace Kelly was the daughter of John Duke and Susan Elizabeth (Carrey) Kelly. She probably died in Delaware County, Oklahoma before 1910 because she is the only one of seven children for which there is no further record. Her mother had reported that six of seven children were still living in 1910. She is mentioned in her father's obituary in 1943 as predeceasing him. No other information is known.

Effie Kelly, daughter of John Duke and Susan Elizabeth (Carrey) Kelly, appears on the 1902-07 Dawes roll (card 167, roll 22294) as Effie Flanagan. She also appears on the 1906-09 Miller roll in Peggs, Oklahoma (ap 23595, roll 11361) as Effie Flanagan. She was 1/32 Cherokee.
She is mentioned in her father's obituary in 1943 that she predeceased him. No other information known.

James Madison Monroe, son of Fincher and Mary (Shields) Monroe and a Cherokee Indian, appeared on the Rolls of the Cherokee Nation for year 1880, page 289 (1779), Delaware District.
He married Mary Francis Kelly (aka "Fannie"), daughter of John Duke and Muta Angeline (Davis) Kelly.
James Madison Monroe, who represented the Delaware District (Oklahoma) as a member of the Cherokee Tribal Council, died while attending a council meeting in 1890.

Beulah Monroe, daughter of James Madison and Mary Francis (Kelly) Monroe, appears on the 1900 Federal Census in Township 25 Range 23 East, Cherokee Nation (supervisors district 73, sheet 17A), living with her mother and step-father. That census shows 16 year-old "Bullia" Monroe was born in October 1883. She reported that she and her father were born in Indian Territory and that her mother was born in Missouri.
Beulah appears on the rolls of the Chrokee Nation of 1896, page 506, #2145, in the Delaware District (Oklahoma). She married John Ralston. No other information is available.

Monroe, daughter of James Madison and Mary Francis (Kelly) Monroe, appears on the 1900 Federal Census in Township 25 Range 23 East, Cherokee Nation (supervisors district 73, sheet 17A), living with her mother and stepfather. That census shows 13 year-old Muta and her father were born in Indian Territory and that her mother was born in Missouri.
She also appears on the rolls of the Chrokee Nation of 1896, page 506, #2146, in the Delaware District (Oklahoma). She married James Neighbor. They had one known child, a daughter.
