Clarence Huffmire, son of Abraham H. and Virginia Eleanor (Kelly) Huffmire, appears on the 1910 Federal Census in Cherokee Township, Montgomery County, Kansas (enumeration district 157, imaged page 18) as William C. Huffmire. That census shows five year-old Clarence was born in Oklahoma and that his father was born in Iowa and his mother was born in Missouri.

He also appears on the 1920 Federal Census in Bigheart Township, Osage County, Oklahoma. That census shows he was 15 years old and the only child living with his parents at the time of the census.

Clarence married Fern Icle Estes, daughter of John William and Mary Ellen (Smith) Estes.

He appears on the 1930 Federal Census, still living in Bigheart Township, Osage County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 57-5, sheet 3B). That census shows 26 year-old Clarence was a pumper in the oil fields. He reported that he was born in Kansas and that his parents were born in Kentucky. The census shows he was 23 years-old when he married.

Clarence's obituary appeared in the September 25, 1969 edition of the Blackwell Journal Tribune. He is buried in Billings Cemetery, Billings, Noble, Oklahoma.

That census shows 13 year old Audra was born in Indian Territory, that her father was born in Missouri, and that her mother was born in North Carolina.
