1860 census: Wyaconda, Clark County, Missouri with wife Rebecca and children Eli, Martha & Amanda (twins), Smith, Armida, & Christian. Value of Farm is $3000, and personal estate is $1000.

1870 census: Washington township, Johnson County, Missouri with wife Rebecca & children Eli, Martha, Amanda, Smith, Armita, and Lucy.

1880 census: listed as Morris M. in Shawnee, Henry County, Missouri with wife Rebecka, son Smith, Daughter Armittie, and granddaughter Effa M. and grandson Jesse L. (born July of 1879). So the question is -- where is Mike Clay and is the Effa listed really Lucy Clay or another granddaughter? Armittie is listed as being single, but that could be an enumerator error.

Fannie Amelia Witt, daughter of Jordan McGavoc and Caroline (Kelly) Witt, appears on the 1900 Federal Census in Prairie Township, Lincoln County, Missouri, (enumeration district 46, sheet 2B), living with her parents. That census shows eleven year-old Fannie was born in December 1889 in Missouri.

She also appears on the 1910 Federal Census, living with her parents, in Bedford, Lincoln County, Missouri (enumeration district 82, sheet 8B). That census shows 21 year-old Fannie and her parents were born in Missouri and that she was single and unemployed.

Fannie (Witt) Dickenhorst appears on the 1920 Federal Census in Bedford, Lincoln County, Missouri (enumeration district 95, sheet 10B). She was 31 years old at the time the census was taken and unemployed.

She appears on the 1930 Federal Census, living with her husband and father, in Bedford, Lincoln County, Missouri (enumeration district 57-1, sheet 13B). That census shows 40 year-old Fannie and her parents were born in Missouri.

     Errin Dickenhorst appears on the 1920 Federal Census in Bedford, Lincoln County, Missouri. He was 29 years old at the time the census was taken and was an assistant cashier in a bank. That census showed he was living with his wife and parents-in-law. (from Eric Andersen)[Kelly History.FTW]

Ervin Case Dickenhorst appears on the 1920 Federal Census in Bedford, Lincoln County, Missouri. He was 29 years old at the time the census was taken and was an assistant cashier in a bank. That census showed he was living with his wife and parents-in-law.

He also appears on the 1930 Federal Census, still living in Bedford, Lincoln County, Missouri (enumeration district 57-1, sheet 13B). That census shows 39 year-old Ervin was born in Missouri and that he had been married at age 23. He was employed as a cashier at a bank in 1930.

Evert A. Kelly appears on the 1900 Federal Census in Prairie Township, Lincoln County, Missouri, (enumeration district 5, sheet 5B), living with his father and step-mother. That census shows ten year-old Evert A. Kelley was born in June 1889 in Missouri and that his parents were also born in Missouri.

He lived with his father and step-mother until he was about 15 years old. Evert then lived with his Aunt Nora (Hamilton) Hunter.

Evert served in the United States Army and was still enlisted at the time of this death in Kansas City, Missouri. He had spinal menengitis. He is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Louisiana, Pike County, Missouri.
