Fern Icle Estes, daughter of John William and Mary Ellen (Smith) Estes, married Clarence Huffmire son of Abraham H. and Virginia Eleanor (Kelly) Huffmire. She appears with him on the 1930 Federal Census, living in Bigheart Township, Osage County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 57-5, sheet 3B). That census shows 22 year-old Fern was born in Oklahoma and that her parents were born in Tennessee. She reported that she was 19 years-old when she married.

Her obituary appeared in the July 12, 1971 edition of the Blackwell Journal Tribune. She is buried in Billing Cemetery, Billings, Noble County, Oklahoma.

Mary E. Huffmire, daughter of Clarence William and Fern Icle (Estes) Huffmire, appears on the 1930 Federal Census, living with her parents in Bigheart Township, Osage County, Oklahoma (enumeration district 57-5, sheet 3B). That census shows two year-old Mary E. Huffmire and her mother were born in Oklahoma and that her father was born in Kansas.

She is mentioned as a survivor in her father's obituary in 1969. That census shows she had married Boyd Huff and was living in Greenville, South Carolina. Her mother's obituary (1971) shows that she was living in Greenville, North Carolina.
