"Kathy Elaine Marshall, daughter of Gene and Talluah Marshall, born June 26, 1959, died June 28, 1976. There isn't a day goes by, that we don't think of Kathy, the joy and happines she brought to our family as a baby and as a little girl. The memories of things she did and said and most of all the beautiful young woman she became.

"I look back on her life and school years, and I realize how rich and full they were for her. Kathy was with the first kindergarten program at Fairland, June 7, 1965. I remember the little yellow mini bus the school purchased to pick the children up at their homes.

"She was carnival queen of ther first grade class. She was a Brownie and a Girl Scout. In her junior high and high school years, she was a football queen attendant, cheerleader, 4-H, played basketball, band for six years, twirler, FHA, chorus and Fairland Round-Up Club.

"She took classes at area vo-tech school fast food service and child care. In 1975 she entered the Oklahoma Miss Teen pageant, her theme, 'Why I Am Proud to be an American." She was active in her church, the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and Zion's League.

"Kathy's senior class of 1977 said, "A friend to all, she brightened the lives of many people. She is missed greatly by the ones who knew and loved her."

"We, her family have these precious memories to cherish forever. Submitted by her mother, Tallulah Marshall."
